To ensure your booking is calculated correctly, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Base rate for 1–2 persons
    The price is the same whether 1 or 2 guests are staying.
  2. Surcharge from the 3rd person onwards
    A nightly surcharge applies starting from the 3rd guest.
  3. Maximum occupancy: 4 persons
    The accommodation allows a maximum of 4 guests, including all children that need a bed themselves.
  4. Children’s rates
    • Children aged 0–14 years: €40 per night
    • Children aged 15 and older: pay the full adult rate
  5. How to book correctly:
    • Enter children up to 14 years old as “children” in the booking form.
    • Enter children aged 15 and older as “adults.”
    • Special case: 1 adult + 1 child (0–14 years)
      → Please select 2 adults and no child (same price as for 1 adult).

Location

The Hallstatt House Elfriede is located outside the centre of Hallstatt. Access is therefore freely possible; however, caution is advised due to the narrow streets and numerous pedestrians.

Getting there

Car: 

Via Salzburg

Autobahn A1 to exit Thalgau
Hof – Fuschl am See – St. Gilgen – Strobl – Bad Ischl – Bad Goisern – Hallstatt

Coming via Graz:
Take the A9 highway to the Liezen exit
Stainach – Lessern – Pichl Kainisch – Bad Aussee – Koppenpass – Obertraun – Hallstatt

Coming via Vienna:
Autobahn A1 to exit Regau
Pinsdorf – Gmunden – AltmĂĽnster – Traunkirchen – Ebensee – Bad Ischl – Bad Goisern – Hallstatt

Train/Bus:

Coming from Attnang-Puchheim or Stainach-Irdning: By train to Bad Ischl station, change to bus 541 to GosaumĂĽhle, change to bus 543 to Hallstatt Lahn (bus terminal), from there 3 minutes on foot to Hallstatt House Elfriede.

Train/boat:

Coming from Attnang-Puchheim or Stainach-Irdning: Get off at the Hallstatt stop, then take the boat to the Hallstatt Markt landing stage, from there it is about a 10-minute walk to Hallstatt House Elfriede

Plane:

Vienna Airport (313 km): Arrival by train/boat or train/bus via Attnang-Puchheim to Hallstatt, then by boat to the Hallstatt Markt landing stage, from there approx. 10 minutes on foot to Hallstatt House Elfriede or arrival by airport cab or rental car

Munich Airport (260 km): Arrival by airport cab or rental car

Salzburg Airport (87 km): Arrival by airport cab or rental car
